I was wondering if you'd taken your viola with you. What do the kids think of it? Do they have instruments like that there? I haven't had my violin out in ages... Darryl keeps commenting he's never heard me play it, but right now it's so out of tune I don't even want to try! :)

The kids love it when I play my viola, though I haven't taken it too class very often. Yes, they have the "traditional" instruments here, as well as other unique Taiwanese instruments. I'll have to take a picture sometime of a Chinese fiddle and post it on here.

By the way, I've enjoyed reading your stories online. Good work!
